Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 13×18 inch baking pan.

  6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
