Strawberry Brownies

Who doesn’t love a delicious dessert? Strawberry brownies are a delightful twist on the classic treat. They combine rich chocolate and fresh strawberries for a mouthwatering experience.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced (optional, for extra strawberry flavor)

For the glaze (optional):

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp strawberry puree (blend fresh strawberries) or milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  • Combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, egg, and milk in a large bowl. Mix until a thick dough forms.
  • Fold in white chocolate chips and diced strawberries (if using).
  • Transfer the dough to the prepared baking pan and press it evenly into the pan using a spatula or your hands.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centre is set. Be careful not to overbake, as these brownies are meant to be soft and chewy.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing.

 

Optional glaze:

  • Whisk together powdered sugar, strawberry puree (or milk), and vanilla extract until smooth in a small bowl. Drizzle over the cooled brownies.
  • Slice into squares and enjoy!
