Spring Floral Wedding Cake



I loved the way this cake turned out. To be honest, a simple white round buttercream cake with pretty fresh flowers is my favorite kind of cake. And my most requested cake. Leonardo Da Vinci said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Couldn’t agree more, Leo! Elegant and simple is the way to go.

Also, Spring is here finally! Which means fresh flowers! I love flowers, but I seem to be unable to keep them alive. Is it possible to have a black thumb? You know, like a green thumb but in reverse? I seem to be unable to keep plants and flowers alive. Oh well. Guess I’ll just cut them up and put them on a cake. That’s what I use them for most of the time anyway. I love a good Spring wedding cake!
